J-Boo was founded in October of 2018 when my baby son Jacob used this very cute word combination when learning to pronounce his own name. Our family had lots of sleepless nights before and after Jacobs birth until we were introduced to candles and fragrances that helped us to relax and unwind. This experience stirred a real curiosity for me in natural candles and how they can be made in an environmentally responsible way.

After a lot of trial and error, and of course some professional training, my first fragrance candle was made - Black Amber & Lavender. I struggled to find candles that were made with natural Soy wax and relaxing natural scents, these emit no toxins and are home friendly.  Another important element for me was that J-Boo candles were designed to blend into the majority of home décor. For the first time, I'd ticked all those boxes for myself and my family, so J-Boo was born.

From the outset i wanted my candles to be simple and let the fragrance do the talking. I created the design and the candle packaging with this in mind, and all the products that will follow, I have added Wax Melts, to the current collection and will continue to grow the family of luxury fragrance.

All products are vegan friendly and cruelty free. I only use luxurious fragrance oils, cotton wicks and soy wax from suppliers that are responsibly and ethically minded.
